The Quantum LiDAR Lab at IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation (IITTNiF) is a premier center for research and development in laser-based sensing, beam steering, and hybrid navigation systems. With a strong foundation in optics, photonics, and sensor fusion, the Lab explores the frontiers of spatial intelligence through technologies like LiDAR, Acousto Optic Modulators (AOMs), and inertial navigation.

Our infrastructure supports full-stack innovation from concept to prototype featuring precision AOMs for dynamic beam steering. These tools enable real-time mapping, and indoor navigation.

We specialize in application domains such as autonomous vehicles, smart infrastructure, robotics, and defence navigation, with ongoing collaborations across academia, industry, and strategic sectors. Our outreach-ready demos showcase laser beam steering via AOMs, visualizing Bragg’s Law and piezoelectric transduction for guest engagement.

In parallel, the Lab conducts technical workshops, hands-on training, and capacity-building programs for students, researchers, and professionals offering immersive exposure to LiDAR systems, laser modulation, and hybrid navigation workflows. Through branded educational assets and reproducible modules, we foster a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and interdisciplinary learning.
